Framlingham Businesses to Connect and Share Ideas at September Networking Event

The Framlingham Business Association is bringing together local businesses, organisations, and individuals on Thursday 17 September for an evening of connection, insight, and inspiration.

The event will provide a chance to meet others who care about the town’s future, hear from engaging speakers, and take away practical ideas to use in business or community life.

The main speaker will be Jason Alexander, founder of Rubbish Walks, who has become widely recognised for encouraging people to get outdoors while tackling the growing issue of litter in streets, parks, and green spaces. Jason first became known as The Wildlife Gadget Man, designing camera systems for wildlife projects and sharing his experiences online. However, a personal challenge to photograph 100 sunrises in a year led him to confront the scale of waste in the environment—an experience that inspired his campaign work.

Attendees will also hear from the New Anglia Growth Hub, which will explain how it can help local businesses access a wide range of support. Its free and impartial service can connect SMEs to grants, finance, international trade opportunities, and specialist advice—all from a single point of contact.

Alongside the talks, there will be time for informal networking and conversation, with refreshments provided.
