Olakunle Kayode (Kay)

Kay is enthusiastic about helping businesses unlock growth through innovation. Combining a strong academic background with hands-on experience in research, evidence-based decision-making, and innovation consultancy, he helps businesses turn ideas into practical opportunities.
He holds a BSc in Microbiology and both an MSc and PhD in Public Health from Anglia Ruskin University, specialising in behavioural science and human physiology. Following his doctoral studies, he contributed to the development of NICE guidelines before moving into innovation consultancy, where he helped Fortune 500 companies in tackling complex innovation challenges. Over the past two years, he has brought this expertise to Start-Ups and SMEs across Norfolk and East Anglia, helping businesses develop innovative ideas, access specialist support, and accelerate sustainable growth.
With experience supporting business innovation across the Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics sectors at the multinational and regional levels, Kay looks forward to helping Norfolk and Suffolk SMEs to drive business growth, productivity, and competitiveness through innovation.
