The NCC Skills Team works with stakeholders, partners, employers and training providers to support and shape the skills system across the county – they facilitate sector skills groups (digital, green, health & social care), and attend many others, including Agri and Tourism. There are also district skills & employment forums in all districts, influencing skills policy and projects at a place-based level. The team is part of the Norfolk & Suffolk Skills Hub – the collaboration platform joining the Skills Teams from both Norfolk and Suffolk County Councils. Alongside collective projects and sector focus, as well as a provider network, this arrangement supports collective resourcing and joint intelligence. The Hub also as governance oversight across cross-county services including the Careers Hub and Skills Bootcamps.
