RESTART: Why Should You Use Video To Promote Your Business?

Wondering whether to invest in promotional video and case studies for your business? Tom Vince, Archant’s creative director, says that good video can be transformative for small business marketing.

Tom presented at the RESTART Virtual Business Recovery Festival in the autumn, bringing free support, advice and training to hundreds of businesses across Norfolk and Suffolk.

With the country now under lockdown again, we are revisiting some of the top tips from our RESTART sessions to bring you new ideas and free advice.

Tom’s 15 minute webinar, called Using Video to Promote Your Business, gives some advice for adding video into your marketing mix.
He says 90% of users find product videos useful in purchasing decisions and that companies using video enjoy 41% more web traffic from search than non-users. Do you have a YouTube channel and are you embedding your quality promotional video and case studies into your website? It’s an easy way to improve your SEO ranking and start driving more traffic to your website.

You can watch the full webinar again, for free and on demand, through the RESTART Festival app here. It’s free to watch over 60 hours of virtual training sessions, covering topics from wellbeing to grants, from digital skills to leadership.
The RESTART Festival was delivered by New Anglia LEP with the Norfolk Enterprise Festival.

Please note that the sessions were recorded during the festival in September 2020 and may refer to restrictions and programmes which have since changed. You can check the latest business support advice on our website here
