New jobs in the team!

Building on the success of the High Streets Matter Programme, we are excited to be expanding our delivery for 2026.

The High Streets Matter programme is a partnership initiative, aimed at boosting market towns through specialised support, including the free Retail & Hospitality support programmes, providing training for over 200 businesses, with follow on grants available to support implementation. This support focuses on enhancing skills, increasing footfall, and fostering collaboration amongst High Street businesses. Read more here.

Market towns and other business districts are pivotal to the rural landscape and the county’s economic prosperity. The High Streets Matter programme has been introduced to equip businesses for success and help these areas to flourish. The programme will support shops, cafés, restaurants, pubs, hotels and market‑town businesses that give our high streets their character.

As part of the expanded programme, we have a few job opportunities available.
