Business support speeds up Martham distribution firm’s expansion

Dariusz Wlodarczyk founded PLUK Limited to import and sell expanded metal mesh, initially for beekeeping, before demand grew from the motor and DIY sectors.
In 2024, becoming the UK distributor for Techtron, a manufacturer of equipment for processing and extracting honey and wax, marked a turning point. Dariusz took on the distributorship as he left full-time employment to focus on the business.
The business has since grown through repeat customers and referrals. Dariusz credits strong customer service and after-sales support as key to building lasting relationships.
Extra storage has allowed PLUK Limited to offer more equipment and faster delivery. Dariusz expects turnover to double within 12 months and says the grant brought the expansion forward by one to two years, while also supporting a new UK distributorship for BURNAT polystyrene hives.
“The support has been great and not just for the grant application, but also the fully funded training workshops from the Growth Hub,” said Dariusz.
