Key points from energy conference SNS2026

One of the main energy conferences in East of England, SNS2026, is this week taking place over two days at the Norfolk Showground. Our business advisers Orian Mendes and Mark Bailey attended yesterday. Here is Orian’s report from Day One.
More than just a review of the last 25 years, the SNS2026 conference by EEEGR (East of England Energy Group) highlights the ambition of the energy sector in our region for the next 25 years.
Day One opening session has already covered topics such as how to create career pathways into this sector, innovation initiatives, diversifying for resilience, and of course building local supply chains.
The Energy Minister Michael Shanks MP addressed the audience on Government initiatives that will support the ambition of our region.
The opportunity for businesses to join the supply chain will carry direct economic benefits. Also, the investment in skills, which is needed, will contribute to the energy transition. It is a virtuous cycle.
Huge congratulations to EEEGR with the milestone anniversary of 25 years!
