Mark Longman is an experienced business advisor with a career spanning more than three decades across retail, training, and consultancy. He has held senior advisory roles on a wide range of business support and grant initiatives in Cambridgeshire and the surrounding areas, and is now bringing his expertise to help Suffolk SMEs achieve their growth ambitions.
Mark has more than 15 years of experience as a senior manager and consultant in the training sector, working with national organisations such as the London Underground, NHS, and Autoglass. A qualified trainer, he specialises in business, sales, marketing, employability, and lead generation.
Before his training and consultancy career, Mark spent 17 years in the retail sector, where he worked in multi-site management for companies including Jessops, Burtons, and Carphone Warehouse. In 2007, he launched his first business, which he successfully sold in 2017, and he continues to run his own training business today.
Passionate about providing excellent support to SMEs, Mark prides himself on delivering high-quality customer service and practical advice that businesses can act on immediately. His breadth of experience gives him a unique understanding of the challenges faced by small businesses—and the strategies needed to overcome them.
