Suffolk businesses are being encouraged to embrace the power of AI and digital tools at a practical new workshop taking place at The EpiCentre, Haverhill, as part of the 2025 West Suffolk Business Festival.
Hosted by the Suffolk Growth Hub, the one-hour, face-to-face session will give small businesses, freelancers, and start-ups practical ways to improve their marketing, increase customer reach, and strengthen their online visibility.
The interactive workshop will cover:
-
How AI is already being used by small businesses
-
Automating marketing tasks and speeding up social media output
-
The role of hashtags in 2025 and how to improve strategy
-
Why Google Business Profiles are essential for visibility
-
How Instagram, TikTok, and Threads are now acting as search platforms
Pauline Prockter, Suffolk Growth Hub Lead, said:
“We know that many small businesses feel overwhelmed by the pace of digital change. This workshop is about giving Suffolk businesses the confidence and practical tools they need to take advantage of AI and modern digital marketing—without the jargon or complexity. It’s about showing what works in the real world.”
Alongside expert guidance, the event will provide opportunities to connect with fellow local business owners in a supportive group setting, with complimentary tea and coffee included.
Organisers say attendees will leave with actionable strategies they can put into practice immediately, ensuring they gain real value from the session and from the wider West Suffolk Business Festival programme.
The event takes place in Haverhill on October 8 at 10am
