Business Growth Fund – Norfolk only
Grants between £5,000 and £50,000
Norfolk County Council has created a special fund, supporting businesses with an ambition to grow.
We are looking for projects that will have a positive impact on Norfolk such as a creating a unique offer, attracting more business into the area, developing export opportunities or increasing productivity. Our Norfolk team of High Growth advisers can help assess your project and if it is eligible they can support you with the application and offer follow on business support.
We have a qualified team, and our fully funded and impartial support covers:
- One-to-one coaching
- Comprehensive business diagnostics
- Bespoke growth action plans
- Help develop business plan, and
- Grant funding advice.
The grant can fund up to 30% of supported project costs. The minimum grant is £5,000 and the maximum grant is £50,000. This means the minimum project size is £16,667. Read the NCC-BGF-FAQ-November-2025 and find out if your project is eligible.

Rural England Prosperity Fund
The grant scheme is delivered by New Anglia Growth Hub hosted at Norfolk County Council and on behalf of Great Yarmouth Borough Council, the Borough Council of King’s Lynn and West Norfolk and North Norfolk District Council. Funding is provided by the Rural England Prosperity Fund (REPF) from the UK Government.

King’s Lynn & West Norfolk – West Norfolk Rural Business Capital Grant scheme
The Borough Council of King’s Lynn and West Norfolk scheme provides capital funding opportunities to support new and existing micro, small and medium sized rural businesses to develop new products and facilities that will be of wider benefit to the local economy.

Suffolk Business Grant Scheme
Grants of between £5,000 and £10,000
Funded by the UK Shared Prosperity Fund, this Scheme is delivered by Babergh District Council, East Suffolk Council, Ipswich Borough Council, Mid Suffolk District Council and West Suffolk Council. The Suffolk district councils are looking to provide support to businesses across Suffolk to grow and become more productive, to encourage innovation and to become more environmentally sustainable through small grants to local SME businesses. Businesses can apply for grants between £5,000 and £10,000, with amaximum grant intervention of 50%. Businesses wishing to apply or for further guidance and support should first contact the New Anglia Growth Hub to discuss their project ideas.
