Business Support

The New Anglia Growth Hub provides access to a range of advice and services for businesses both new and well-established:

Access to Expert Advice
We are not the experts, but we know who the experts are. The New Anglia Growth Hub provides a bespoke signposting and referral service, putting you in contact with specialists in your field, such as Innovate UK, Intellectual Property Office and Enterprise Europe Network.
You can discuss your growth plans with us in detail and we aim to find you some support to help your business.

Access to Exporting
Have you considered exporting your products or services? How do you find clients in foreign markets and which markets could you expand in to?
The Passport to Export service from UK Trade & Investment (UKTI) can help you assess your company’s readiness for international trade, and start exporting. They will help you create a detailed action plan, assist with market research and could help fund visits to your target market.  We can introduce you to your local International Trade Adviser.

Access to Digital Support
Are you making the most of broadband in your business? Do you want faster internet speeds? We can help you understand the different options for broadband in your business.
We can help you find out when superfast broadband will be delivered to your area.
Talk to us about digital workshops covering subjects such as social media and Google Analytics, or  check our Events page.

Access to Intellectual Property
You don’t need to have “the next big idea” in order to take advantage of Intellectual Property (IP) Rights. Small and medium sized businesses may want to consider some basic IP, such as protecting your name and logo with a trademark. Businesses that are developing new ideas and technology may want to look at applying for patents.
We can introduce you to the Intellectual Property Office or find local patent attorneys and IP specialists.

Access to Leadership & Management
There are number of providers of specialist business coaching to improve leadership and management within your business which we can help you access. To find out if this is suitable option for you, contact us.

Access to Advice & Support
You can talk to the New Anglia Growth Hub about any aspect of business growth. If we don’t know the answer, we certainly know someone who does. Our team of friendly advisers will come out to see you at your business premises and offer a bespoke signposting and referral service, saving you time and money.

Access to Finance
Your business will always need access to finance, whether it’s through your bank, or alternative sources. You can talk to us about grants, loans, angel finance, crowdfunding, venture capital and much more.  Further details are here

Access to Start-up Advice
Whether it’s a pre-start or existing start-up business, there are dedicated enterprise agencies in Norfolk and Suffolk that exist to help you start-up your business and grow rapidly. Many of the services are free and we can introduce to you to local providers of start-up support.

Access to Grants & Vouchers
Ask us about the Growing Business Fund, which awards grants of between £5,000 and £500,000 for Norfolk and Suffolk companies embarking of capital projects or investments. To discuss eligibility, speak to a Growth Hub Adviser.  In addition, there are grants to support low energy or carbon reduction measures, grants for non-mandatory training and vouchers to boost broadband.
