Have a say in the survey that government takes seriously: the Quarterly Economic survey
The fieldwork for the British Chambers of Commerce (BCC) Quarterly Economic Survey (QES) for the fourth quarter of 2018 is open.
In recent years, the response of the Suffolk business community to the QES has been really high: allowing us to have a major influence in ensuring that the Suffolk ‘voice’ is maximised as the BCC uses the insights from each QES to lobby Government.
The BCC’s ‘Fixing the Fundamentals’ campaign has been partly inspired by the responses of our members to encourage the Government to improve infrastructure and reduce up-front business costs. The recent Budget included a number of pro-business reforms that were directly in response to our and the BCC’s lobbying.
This particular survey closes on 27 November.
We are also carrying some questions for businesses in west Suffolk on behalf of West Suffolk Councils (Forest Heath District and St Edmundsbury Borough Councils). These can be found after the QES.
